FAQs

Do I need a doctor’s referral to make an appointment?

No, you do not need a referral to receive any of our services..

What is cash-based health care?

When you receive care from a provider who operates a cash-based practice, you are freed from the constraints of the bureaucratic insurance system. You and your health care provider create a treatment plan that will best serve your health care needs.

You can still submit claims to your health insurance provider (EXCEPT for Medicare*), but your care is no longer driven by the insurance model of care. You will be expected to pay for services at the time they are received.

Will you provide paperwork that I can submit to my insurance provider?

Yes, you will be provided a detailed receipt that you can submit to your private insurance provider. However, there is no guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse you for any payments.

*Please note: Our licensed physical therapist and physical therapist assistant are not enrolled as Medicare providers. Therefore, our PT services are not covered by Medicare and cannot be submitted to Medicare. If you want Medicare to pay for services, you should seek those services from a Medicare enrolled PT provider.
