Dr. Rachel Axmacher, PT, DPT

Dr. Rachel Axmacher is a licensed physical therapist with experience in working with patients of all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics. She is especially passionate about working with infants and young children and is excited to offer PT for infants at Sage. Dr. Rachel also has extensive knowledge and training in the autonomic nervous system and polyvagal theory. She is trained in Somatic Experiencing and uses a gentle approach to help people access and process stored tension and trauma in the body. She is dedicated to helping clients experience a felt sense of safety in their body, learn to support their autonomic nervous system, and create expansion in their lives.
